The Horror...

As our beloved government introduce some rigorous horror into the curriculum, I though I would show you some real life horror.


Grotesque inequality on this septic  sceptered isle, this earth of exploitation, this seat of the rich, this other Eton. I could go on.

The horror, the horror.

We can teach the horror to counteract the horror - we can teach anything to counteract the horror.

This is our precious stone set in the sullied sea - we can make the change. Not change to believe in, but change to live in. To make a happy whole of people in a big world.

But to do so, we must ensure that our current hard work (which, as someone who gets to see each strand - the planning, the teaching, the assessing - is amazing) must remain purposeful and relevant. Value driven.

It's not just what we do, or how we do it - it's why we do it. Here's a slightly cheesy quote to end:
